The young sorcerer faces the idol & reads from the book…hoping to steal the power from the Elder God.

Suddenly the air crackles and for the first time the inexperienced necromancer has doubts.

 

The stone idol is replaced with the very deity it represented….Cthulhu himself!!!!!

 

Ancient, unsympathetic eyes look upon one who would steal power. The ancient one has other ideas……

Outstretched talons cast a spell of obedience upon the foolhardy.

 

Feeling himself changing…..becoming a herald for the very being he sought to up throw. .

 

Defiantly screaming, his body now changed to look more like his master.

 

 

Defiance turning to acceptance….his memory erased.

 

Behold…..he who will make the way ready for Cthulhu!!!!

 

A cool breeze blows through the trees…..

 

 And the world shivers.
